Kitto toberu sa, on my love ~
A real shame, I truly loved his music and all the time and effort he put into helping the Digimon series.
He will definitely be missed.
For some reason the really artistic people die younger. That's a shame. My wishes go out to his family.
42 is far too young, a sad moment in life.
RIP mr Wada.
R.I.P. Kouji Wada, and my condolence to the family.
Rest in peace Kouji, I hope the ones closest to him are managing. We've had so many creatives die this year, it truly is sad for people who bring joy to others to die, especially so early in their lives.
The gate that connect me and the wonderful world of anime. I still remember that night when butterfly fatefully aired inside my car. At the age of 10, that was my very first awakening in full consciousness that draw me toward Anime, Japanese music, and Japan in general.
RIP Kouji Wada. Your voice, your works, and your presence will always be remembered by all digimon fans.

In Finland Butter-Fly was highly adored by people of my age class, even people who don't watch anime and have seen Digimon in their youth remember that legendary song. :punk:
I grew up watching the rare Singaporean/Malaysian english dubbed version on Cartoon Network Asia, which had all the Japanese OST intact. I used to jump at the sound of Butter-fly, drop everything and have my face glued to the TV screen. Ah, to be a kid again...
I was hoping the news of his death was greatly exaggerated. He was such a talented guy, and the anime world is a bit darker with him gone.
